Our philosophy – Out in front from the start

The logistics sector is well-known for its rapid pace and the fact that it sets new challenges every day for all those involved. Mostly, this concerns hard facts and changing framework conditions: Technology continues to develop, and both infrastructures and demands change just like the market itself.

J.S. Logistics responds to change and takes up challenges – always with the aim of combining social responsibility and safety with quality on all levels.

We are happy to assume the pioneering role, and we quite intentionally invest in technologies that improve the framework conditions on our market.

We attach particular value to the compatibility of ecology and economics, the safety of our drivers and our freight, and protecting all road-users.

In both words and deeds

In concrete terms, our company's mission is embodied in the following examples:

Our fleet consists exclusively of Euro 6 vehicles which are equipped with driver assist systems (safety trucks).
By using modern telematics systems, we optimise both routes and also the use of our vehicles and reduce CO₂ emissions too.
We place great importance on renewable energies and produce our own electricity with solar panels on the roofs of our storage halls.

In the TruckInvest 4.0 project, the Saarland University for Technology and Economy (htw saar) and J.S. Logistics, alongside other renowned partners, research the use of methods of machine learning and artificial intelligence in order to optimise the fleet structure with the help of real data regarding use and consumption.
